Gemas WW2 Memorial

The Gemas WW2 Memorial is in the dictrict of Tampin,
build in honour of the Australian and Japanese soldiers
who were killed during this ambush to halt the advance of the Japanese Imperial army
to Singapore.
The 2/30th Australian Battalion led by Leftenant Colonel Gallaghan against the 5th Infantry Division of the Japanese army. The Ambush
