A must go hill resorts for visitors to this booming tropical island,

and 11pm on weekends.

Besides enjoying the good food in Penang,
this place is a must go for everyone,

Tawau Sunrise

Sunrise at Tawau's quiet seafront,
a town on the south east corner of Sabah,
almost forgotten if not for the beautiful islands
of Sipadan,Mabul and Mataking
at nearby Semporna.

Express Boat probably to Indonesia.

A smoking chimney over at  Sebatik Island
but i'm not sure whether it's on the Malaysian or Indonesian side.

Kampung Titingan from town.

RH Buli Sg Semanok

RH Buli is a very quiet small Iban long house
by the Semanok riverside
about 150 meters from the sea
and 40 km by road from Bintulu.

Semanok rivermouth.

Tilted old house.

Vegetables ready for sale at the Bintulu Market.

This long house is one of the few in Bintulu
where every household  still practice animism
something quite rare in a modern world nowadays
as most have already embraced christianity.

A plate of offering.

Art and Life

Under the bridge street art
and the reality of life,
sleeping under the care of Doraemon.
