Batu Hampar of Bukit Melawati

The mystery of the Batu Hampar,
Bedrock or Execution rock, some 5 feet by 5 and 1 feet thick,
where some believe it's the place where traitors
and a palace maid was beheaded for adultery,
while others says it's where the late Sultan of Selangor,
HRH Sultan Abdul Samad sits on
for a game of chess
with a good view of Kuala Selangor below

Kuantan River Cruise

An old rejuvenated river cruise
now handled by Bukit Gambang Resort City
along the Kuantan river with views of the mangrove swamp,
fishing village and white bellied sea eagles feeding by the river.

Boat ride pass Singamata Resort

It was just a nice boat ride pass
a very beautiful Singamata Reef Resort
on my hour long boat ride off Semporna.
I didn't expect this place will be in the news
for the wrong reason.

Where once  tigers and elephants roam freely
what's left now is just a swampy patch
and palm trees as far as the eye can see.
How much further do we want to go?
Haven't we have enough of these palm tree?
Soon regrets will come when all the biodiversity
and water catchment area are gone.
