Pray for MH17

Another sad day for Malaysia and the world,
at a time when peace seems so far away,
let us pray for the 298 passenger and crew on board MAS flight MH17,
which was shot down over Ukraine airspace,
that they may find comfort and rest in peace with God.

even the cloud seem to be  praying......

Pengkalan Kempas hidden secrets

Pengkalan Kempas was once upon a time
an important stopover town for travel
between Malacca and Port Dickson
until the north south highway
and a new bridge over the Linggi River at Tg Agas
took away most of the traffic
leaving a place fighting for its existence.

A signboard telling visitors not to disturb crocodiles in the Linggi river.

A town with a police station,a clinic,a school,a temple,a church,a market and 2 rows of prewar shop house
of which less than 5 are still in business.

its hidden secrets, the Tomb of Syeikh Ahmad Mahjun

Ancient Lie Detector Inscribed Stone,
the hole will constrict when one lies, anyone dares put his hand through the hole and lie?
I think Indiana Jones will be interested..

The Inscribed Stone or Pillar is made of a squared sand stone or 'Batu Acheh'
with inscriptions in Minangkabau,Acheh,Javanese and Arabic
detailing the day of his death in 1467
in the hands of supporters of Sultan Mansur Shah who ruled Malacca from about 1459 to 1477.

The megalithic stone with carvings,nicknamed
from left to right, the 'Rudder',the 'Spoon' and the 'Sword'

The 'Rudder"

The 'Spoon'

The 'Sword' with the word 'Allah'
was most probably added on to this pagan rock
after the burial of the saint.

The "Shield'
