at Temerloh have been the traditional meeting point
for traders, friends and enemy since time immemorial
and had since lost most of its significance
with other mode of land transport taking over.

Mesmerizing evening by the lake

I have been here 3 times
and this muddy ex-tin mining lake never fails to deliver.
The lake is beside Taman Putra Perdana and D'island residence Puchong.

Pekan Museum

The Pekan's Sultan Abu Bakar Museum
is a very attractive one
especially for the kids with outdoor exhibits like
the wooden drift wood horses, water birds,
a Wasp helicopter and an Army's APC.

The Sultan's old Cardillac.

Wooden horses and water birds made from pieces of drift wood
and branches imported from Indonesia.

Large Jars of similar size to those from Laos's  Plain of The Jars

These jars looks like an original carved out from sandstone.

The royal emblem of the Cardillac.

An old Land Rover fire engine.

My son Wei Yang trying to lift the old wheeled fire extinguisher.
