First opened in 1915 during the Colonial (FMSR) era,
this railway bridge is the first bridge across the Muda River.
It was bombed by the retreating British during WW2
and rebuild by the Japanese during their occupation
but with electricfication and double tracking,
a new bridge have been build not far away,
thus leaving the old one abandoned.
I hope the bridge will be maintain as a tourist attraction
with proper signages plus bushes and creepers cleared.
