I was using a Nikon FG 30 years ago
and when the digital age arrived i move to a compact Casio QV-R3 3 mega pixel
which served me well for the first 5 years,
then i got a Kodak C613 6.2 mega pixel which i used till now
when i finally tell myself that i have to move on
and there comes the D90 after looking around on Nikon,Olympus,Canon and Sony
finally settled for the old faithful Nikon since both my sis are also with it,
elder with a D70 and younger with a D300S.
Now i have a lot to play with for a long long time.
Retired 27th December 2009 and my elder son,Rowan have a compact to play with.
Ah! My first digital compact, now with my second son Leon.
My old Nikon FG and SB15 flash is still working,
shutter a bit sticky.

My Project-Scaffolding holder for Siemens Mixing Chamber
Erecting a platform for welding and repair works on the overlaps
between the tile carrier and mixing chamber is quite
a messy job considering the shape of the mixing chamber
which is shape like a snail.
Now with the jig we can have more room to
move about instead of a bundle is pipes everywhere.
The sketch before the job starts.
This is the jig or holder where the the scalfolding works starts.
2 set will be needed since we have 2 combustor.
A closer look at the holder.
A ladder and platform is ready for work to start.

Bintulu-Taman Tasik Stadium
The Taman Tasik Stadium in Bintulu is a new attraction for the oil town of Sarawak.
Newly completed it offers a nice small lake,a cascading waterfall which i haven't seen in action yet,2 viewing decks,a fountain,Gazebo and plankwalk way around the lake.
The Gazebo with the Indoor stadium in the background.

Bintulu-The New Waterfront,longest in Sarawak
The New Waterfront is an extension from the old one in Bintulu town
which starts in front of RHB bank to The Tamu
is now extended right up to Tg Batu at the rivermouth
and at almost 3.5km from my measurement,
it will be the longest one in Sarawak .
It is a nice place to relax for a morning or evening walk
together with our loved ones.
Everly Hotel in the background.
The Kemena river mouth.
Landscaping and lightings are well planned
but i hope there will be routine maintenance along the way
for it to last a long time.
