My friend Hairul Anuar @Khaz caught a 9.3kg barracuda(ikan alu-alu or ikan kacang in malay)
which was in a daze for unkwown reasons
at the Pengkalan Balak beach in Malacca yesterday.
He was having his cup of tea at a beach side cafe beside the police station
when he saw the 'ikan alu-alu'
that's what the locals call it swimming by the shoreline
and he quickly dash down and caught it.
This lucky guy was even interviewed by a malay daily reporter
who was nearby the area.
I was wondering, is it a good sign when a big fish like this comes ashore?
or is this a prelude to something big next?
When others have to wait patiently for a bite in the hot sun.
This is the spot where the fish came ashore.
