Pulau Melaka is a man made island off the coast of Malacca
and it was supposed to be a new township but now it is almost
deserted except for some occupied codominiums
and the beautiful Malacca Straits Mosque which is build on stilt.
The magnificient Malacca Straits Mosque.
Rows and rows of shop abandoned for the moment until development catches up here.
A jetty which doesn't serve its purpose and almost reach the island.
Millions just go to waste by blunders like this and is anyone held
accountable for this?
The island is also the site for the ramp where
the Melaka Duck Tours amphibous craft will decent
onto the waters and it is beside The Straits Mosque.

Unique Mosque Minarets of Malacca
Malacca is a unique place where the cultures of the east and west fused,
a good example are the minarets of these five mosques which resembles a pagoda
and fittings and decorations inside are a blend of Sumatran,English,Portugist,Chinese and Moorish.
This is the Pagoda styled Minaret of Kampung Kling Mosque
build in 1748 which is part of Malacca Heritage Trail.
