This swampy area in Penor
was one upon the time a very fertile paddy field
until the rapid development,education wise and industrialization in the 70ies and 80ies
through the NEP by the late Prime Minister Tun Abdul Razak
causes a big shift for a better jobs to the urban areas for these village folks
thus bringing an end to paddy cultivation here.

Dasar perindustrian masa era TMM telah banyak rosakkan 'periuk nasi' kita. Bila krisis beras, gula, minyak masak dll (boleh makan besi kot!). PM Dolah keluar pulak 'Pertanian itu perniagaan'. Sepatutnya seiring antara perindustrian & peningkatan teknologi pertanian.
