Rocks of Lubuk Temiang beach

A slow walk on a hot afternoon along the rocky beach
of Lubuk Temiang in Labuan
yield some nice scenery and rocks.

An eerie find,
a rock resembling a baby.

Mushroom lookalike rock.

An abandoned anchor.

The cave at the end of the walk,
below the Kubung Bluff.

A lone mangrove tree fighting a losing battle.

This large piece of rock looks like
a cat sitting in a sphinx position.

  6. Today I can see the photos..hehe..

Sometimes its interesting to interpret the sightings of rocks/nature in our very own imagination.

  9. Beautiful shots! But thinking about your compo, do you have to wet your feet to get these kind of shots? Were you on shorts/bermuda with backpack on your back,..or just kind of pass-by-and-shot, then go?

Banyak soalan macam polis lah pulak. hehehe

    1. de engineur,
I was on shorts, china made crocs slippers with a small backpack(Lowerpro orion trekker 2,with a 28~300lens which i didn't use,1L mineral water and some filters)
and it was planned earlier(waiting for an off day, nice afternoon and most important is low tide)
as it is about 1.8km walk from where i park my vehicle till the end of the beach(caves) so i went when the tide is receding and only venture into the waters and mud (less than 1 feet) when there is something. nice.
