Back to the 70ies-By the Klang river

Some old photos from my collection of dredging works
by the Klang River at the cooling water pump(CWP)house intake
of the Connaught Bridge Power Station
back in 1974 when the old steam station
was still running.
Seen in the background were the old Connaught Bridge, a bailey bridge
and old KTM's Truss railway bridge
which were replaced by concrete ones in the 90ies.

The barge somewhere in Port Klang probably to load the crane in.

  3. The black and whites are such a stand out. Brings back memories of my young day and loitering around Ipoh seeing the same.

  4. Great collection. Re-capturing them using digital cam will surely preserve these pictures. We've lost many of our parents' B&W pictures.
