The Blow Off Valve (Bleed Valves) is removed during a 'C' Inspection and parts like seals,springs,gaskets are replaced and the seat is lapped with lapping paste to ensure a proper seal. A blue contact check is later done on the valve seat.
Pressure test is also done on the valve cylinder so that no compress air leaks out because the valve will have to be maintained in a close position when the Gas Turbine is running at full speed,
any leakage will means loss of efficiency.
Ilangovan and Lee making sure that the valve goes through the insulation roofing.
Reinstalling back for pressure test.

Dismantling in progress,with the aid of special tools,
please beware of the danger and make sure proper procedure are followed when dismantling because there is a big spring under tension in the cylinder(The other valves have 2 springs)
