A short visit to Tawau Hills Park
Our short visit to the Tawau Hills Park,
not far away from the Sabah's east coast town of Tawau.
A park almost surrounded by palm oil plantation
which is an overdone thing,very soon we in the whole of Malaysia
will be regretting our actions for destroying these virgin jungles
here and at every corner of the country,losing our water catchment area,
biodiversity and wildlife plus creating a host of social problem
from the few million foreign workers to work in it.
Our favourite shutdown crew Jemat taking a rest.
Our Iban friends,Peter,Andrew,Jefferyand Jemat,definitely felt at home in the park looking at their faces.

At 88.32 meters, the secong tallest tropical tree in the world(2017).

Bonded
A tree bonded with a disused lamp post,
like we Malaysians,after 57 years of independence
have gone through the same bonding process
and these true Malaysian who have their country at heart
will always and continue to fend off
whatever not which try to destroy their solid bond.

Lonely no more
Dead and fallen trees at Port Dickson.
Coastal erosion and a rising sea blamed to global warming
coupled with human greed is overdeveloping
the once beautiful beach to the point of no return.
~a poem for the dead trees,
Lonely No More
I'm a lonely tree with little leaves
almost bare and dead by the rising sea
soon i will not be alone anymore
as i will be joining my dead friends
living life without problems.

Today this tree at Telok Kemang is nowhere in sight.
Uprooted at Pantai Purnama not far away.

When a tree prays....
When a tree prays..
Oh! Why am i so lonely
where is everybody,
where are all my ancestors?
Who cut them down?
Oh!Please let us live too,
we are also part of this beautiful world,
it don't belongs solely to you humans
we have the right too,
we have been here for millions of year,
long before you came,
so please give us some space,
let us live and be part of your world too,
cut us but do it sustainably
and we will give back to you many benefits,
timber that you wanted most,
wildlife that you cherish so much,
clean water and oxygen that we can't live without,
biodiversity that you will treasure most later on,
so please..... please..let us live.
