Replica of The Great Wall and Statue of Liberty.

This 500m long almost life size replica of The Great Wall Of China
is at Kampung Merbau,Ayer Tawar,Perak.
I think it is build somewhere around 1992 and it took a great effort by the villagers
to build it with all the landscaping
and by the way you don't have to pay to visit this one.

The entrance to the village.

Vision 2020 by Tun Dr Mahathir, are we still on track?

These villagers have the vision, how about us?

Ah! Can someone translate this.

Wau! They even build a Statue of Liberty here.

A replica of Kek Lok Si with a clock.

Children playground.

  2. So far this is the biggest village project i have seen but maybe there are others out there still waiting to be discovered.
Actually most villages do have some small decorative garden or arches project but to do big ones like this need a lots of cooperation, time, money and effort.
