with a 1 3/8" 12 points impact socket
but we will normally tighten it with a slogging spanner
and because of the position of the coupling bolt nut
which is further inside the exhaust diffuser
and it can be quite difficult
so there comes the need for this tool
which i first saw being used in Myanmar in 2002
during a job there.
It's now either by hook or by crook.
Here is the crook with a 1 3/8" Snap-on impact socket
welded to a piece of 3/4" thick scrap metal plate.
And it 's meant to be pulled by a 2 meters long scaffolding pipe
to get the bolt elongation..
Hasahar JJ doing the tightening job.
After the tightening job is done.
