Our visit to Bungai Beach

Our one day sightseeing trip from Bintulu to Miri have its first stop here at Bungai Beach,where the gorilla mural and The Bishop's Nose arch is situated.
We then move on to Tg Batu,Miri, where we found the Horse Head Arch
and then to Miri for a pitstop before visiting the Crocodile Farm at Kuala Baram.

Bishop's nose arch of Tg Bungai

I call this nice natural arch at Tg Bungai, the Bishop's Nose arch
since the very first thing that comes into my mind when i saw it was,
Oh! it looks like the long nose of my former catholic school brothers,
i am sure those of you who have been lucky enough to be educated
in a missionary school knows what i mean.

Gorilla like mural on the cliffs of Tanjung Bungai

I stumbled upon this unique gorilla like mural cause by different colour shade of the cliff rock
on the beach of Tanjung Bungai,Bekenu,Sarawak.
This stretch of beach is so clean and quiet due to its remoteness with Miri the nearest city
about 40 minutes away.










This seem to be the longest stretch of high cliff in Malaysia
with some as high as 30 meters with a few more beautiful natural arch
which will come in my next post.
