not because i wouldn't be coming back here
but because of the impending multi billion ringgit development
together with a deepsea port coming to the area
which is just outside the northern part of Similajau National Park.
Harden volcanic mud which was once bubbling.
Coal deposit in abundance here like at most coastal areas in Sarawak.
Site preparation works in full swing for an unknown mega project,
the usual style here in Sarawak.
Jungles cleared right up the the beach, what will be next?
A mud retention pond at the site but siltation is already taken showing up
on the beach will fallen trees and i wonder why clear the trees right up to the beach,
why can't they leave some buffer zone
or might as well reclaim more land from the beach!
